The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. Through the Foundation, Rotary does great work all over the world, both through grants to Rotary Clubs and to organizations fighting our common goal of eliminating polio from the globe.

Our District and our Clubs work hard to raise money for the Rotary Foundation. We give freely because we know that we are serving the greater good. Here are links to additional information.

  • Alumni - the purpose of this subcommittee is to encourage alumni of various Rotary projects, such as Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Scholarships and Exchanges and the like to maintain their relationship with Rotary through membership or through supporting Rotary Foundation programs.
  • Annual Giving and EREY - the purpose of regular, annual giving (as reflected in the "Every Rotarian Every Year" project) is to help support the Rotary Foundation with steady income. This in turn helps provide our District with funds from the Foundation that we award as District Grants.
  • District Grants - the committee evaluates grant requests from Clubs and helps assure that Clubs are properly trained to administer grants from the Rotary Foundation.
  • Fundraising - Eat, Drink and Share - only one District-wide fundraising event, and it is a great one! Click above to learn more about how eating delicious food can raise money for our Rotary Foundation!
  • Global Grants - the committee works to promote global grant opportunities, wherein our clubs partner with a club or clubs in other countries to help fund a qualifying project. Global grants support large international activities with sustainable, measurable outcomes in Rotary’s . Grant sponsors form international partnerships that respond to real community needs.
  • Major Gifts and Endowment Fund - provides special income to meet the demand for Foundation programs and to expand its ability to meet urgent human needs around the world. This endowed fund is invested in perpetuity.
  • Paul Harris Fellow -a special recognition provided by the Rotary Foundation for people who contribute a minimum of $1,000 over any period of time.
  • Paul Harris Society - members of the Society contribute a minimum of $1,000 annually to the Rotary Foundation.
  • Polio Plus - the Rotary Foundation's special program to eliminate the scourge of the polio virus from everywhere on the globe.
  • Scholarship and Peace Fellows Each year, Rotary selects up to 100 individuals from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships at one of our peace centers. These fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.
  • Stewardship - The Stewardship Subcommittee is responsible for ensuring the careful management of Rotary Foundation grant funds and for educating Rotarians on proper and effective grant management.
