About Rotary District 7510
Rotary District 7510 is a group of clubs associated with Rotary International in central New Jersey. Our purpose is to help our individual clubs advance the Object of Rotary.
We work to promote club effectiveness within our region, specifically:
- Sustain and increase clubs' membership base
- Help clubs implement successful projects that address the needs of their communities and communities in other countries
- Support The Rotary Foundation through both program participation and financial contributions
- Develop club leaders capable of serving in Rotary beyond the club level

Location
Rotary International District 7510, located about halfway between New York City and Philadelphia, contains 43 clubs, covering a five county area in Central New Jersey, USA. The Central New Jersey region, comprised of Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset and Union Counties, is a diverse area ranging from densely populated cities to sparsely populated rural farmland. The varied economy includes heavy industry such as auto manufacturing, petroleum, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing, biotechnology and electronics research and development, agriculture and major service industries including market research, educational testing and state government. The District is home to Trenton, the State Capital, and several internationally renowned institutions of higher learning including Princeton University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Thomas Edison State College, The College of New Jersey, Rider University which includes Westminster Choir College, Institute For Advanced Study and Rutgers University.
Leadership
Ahmed Azmy, 2010-2011 District Governor
Ahmed joined the Rotary Club of Princeton in 2000. During that time
he served as Club Foundation Chair, Fundraising Chair, VP and Program
Director, Board Member, Club President 2004-2005 and Assistant District
Governor for two years. He is a Paul Harris Fellow with one cluster, as well as
a graduate of the Leadership Institute. Ahmed and his wife Nadia attended
most of the District Conferences, and have been to three Rotary International
Conventions in Brisbane, Australia (2003), Osaka, Japan (2004), and the
Centennial Conference in Chicago, Illinois (2005). He was selected to be
District Governor for the year 2010-2111. Ahmed is a strong believer that
“Rotary is a life-time job.”
Born in Egypt, the son of an architect, he has followed in this father’s
footsteps. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Ain Shams
University in Cairo in 1958, and joined their faculty to teach architecture
for two years. He was then awarded a scholarship to the University of
Pennsylvania where he obtained a Masters in Architecture in 1961, and
a Masters in City Planning in 1962. It was there he met Nadia, and they
were married in 1962. He then completed his Doctor of Philosophy in
Architecture at Princeton University in 1966. He subsequently returned to
teach architecture for three years in Cairo, and spent the next three years in
Tripoli, Libya, where he was appointed Chair of the Architectural Department
at Tripoli University.
Ahmed’s family immigrated to the United States in 1974. He became
a Principal and Director of Middle East operations with the Architectural/
Engineering firm CUH2A located in Princeton, NJ. In 1986 Ahmed was in
charge of master planning the pilgrimage sites in Makkah. He then joined
UNDP as an Urban Design Expert in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and opened an
office in Dubai following of his winning an International Design Competition
in 1988.. He became part of the Architectural/Engineering firm of HACBM as
a Principal in 1990 with which he remained until his retirement in December
2006. Today he continues his architectural pursuits through his firm Azmy
Architects LLC. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, The
American Planning Association, and the Foundation Board of Thomas Edison
State College.
Ahmed and Nadia are the parents of two children. Daughter Nahla
her husband and two children reside in Princeton, and son Baher lives in
Brooklyn, NY with his wife and daughter. Ahmed likes sports especially
squash, tennis, and boating. He finds much joy in community work, travel,
and being near the ocean.
Megan Jones-Holt, 2010-2011 District Governor Elect
Megan was inducted into Clinton Sunrise with her grandfather’s Rotary
pin in 1995. In ‘96 she was elected Treasurer and remains so today. Serving
consecutively as Vocational Chair she started the club’s scholarship program,
was one of the original members of Bridging the Gap, serving on the district
committee since 1999 and as chair since 2006, and brought Early Act to
Clinton Public School. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor as
well as a graduate of the Leadership Institute.
The New Orleans native is no stranger to community service. In addition
to Rotary she has served on her town’s planning board, created fundraising
events for the Clinton Museum including the infamous Haunted Mill.
Currently, a Trustee on the board for Hunterdon Prevention Resources, The
Wellness Community, The Holt Charitable Foundation,an Advisor for the
Hunterdon County Land Trust, and is an elected member of the County
Republican Committee as well as a member of the 200 Club.
As a Theatre Design graduate of the University of Texas she worked as a
scenic and lighting designer. She then became an Entrepreneur and moved
into commercial arts, photography and back to theatre under a tent when
she and her husband, Matt Holt started their event rental company in 1992
until 2007 when they sold it. During the 15 years, she became certified by the
American Rental Association as an Event Rental Professional(CERP) through
the University of Illinois. Over the years their company earned the recognition
as one of the top 25 companies in NJ as well as a top 25 in event rental nation
wide. Megan was honored by several organizations, local and national for her
work and dedication to the industry and business community.
Now an Independent Representative for World Ventures, a marketing
company for it’s internet based travel agency, Rovia, Megan spends her time
sharing with others the joys and affordability of travel through the employment
benefit package, the leisure travel wholesale club and her travel web
site guaranteeing lowest available rates.
Megan & Matt are a product of their work as their goal is to see the world
which has taken them to 5 continents and over 25 countries to date. Justin,
their son shares Megan’s passion for photography as a Director of Video and
Photography in PA. Megan holds a black belt in Kempo, enjoys vegetable
gardening, endurance and adventure sports completing her first marathon
in April of 2009.
